Updating The Edwards Campaign Changes

05 Jul 2007 07:06 pm

1. John Edwards will add one more senior position to his campaign: a financial control officer who will be in charge of monitoring the campaign's expenditures.

2. The USA Today's Jill Lawrence reminds us of the weird way Edwards described the skills of his campaign manager last December.

3. Most headlines use the verb "shuffle" to describe today's changes. That seems about right to me.

Obama guessed me right, when he guesses that people are tired of the partisanship. I do appreciate the different tone in his words. Yes there are things he wants to change. Yes its obvious that those changes would be different than the current administration's approaches. No he doesn't have to drive the point home and tell me how incompetent, corrupt, (fill in your favorite negative adjectives here) the Republicans are.

I liked a quote from the Ben Smith piece. He has a "natural ability to inspire."
