AMES: 11,000 Have Voted As Of 2:00 p.m.

11 Aug 2007 04:01 pm

Untitled.jpg The Iowa Republican Party has informed the presidential campaign that approximately 11,000 GOPers voted in the straw poll as of 2:00 p.m..

That would suggest that turnout might not meet the expectation of the state party.

Voting closes at 6:00 pm CST.

We'll know the results at 7:00 pm ET.

So we'll see the results at the exact time the voting closes? 6:00PM CST is 7:00PM ET.

Why cite separate time zones which correspond to the exact same time in this instance?

Low turnout? Of course, everyone knew Romney would win and none of the other top guys there. We already knew how this book ended.

Comparing this to 1999 when it was a real horserace is totally unfair.

Who in the world cares what 12000 Iowa Republicans think? The Democarts have more dead voters than that in Chicago!

The wole Republican roster is so lame than if you ran them all, they could beat Dennis Kucinich, let alone Hillary.

In 2008 you are going to see payback (on a massive scale) for the last eight years of Bush and company. It will take Republicans a decade to recover (if ever)
