Key lines
:

"A Republican in Arkansas feels about as out of place as Michael Vick at the Westminister Dog Show.

"I can't buy you. I don't have the money. I can't even rent you. But today, the straw poll is a day that change all of that. The straw poll is not about electing a straw man. It's giving the voters of Iowa a chance to prove that they are mature voters.... who understand that they are buying the cereal, not just the box."

Biggest applause line: "We need to go to a fair tax that is so simple a seven year old running a lemonade stand could understand it."

This guy has wit, strength of conviction, great speaking ability and charisma. All he needs is more money and some publicity.

^^ So basically, what he needs is the political and business elite. An essentially impossible task, but I wish him luck. IMO, he's probably the best of the Republican bunch--course, that's not saying too much.

Mike Hucakbee is genuine, honest, and man of integrity with impeccable character. Wouldn't it be great to see more leaders like him in America?

He is the GUY. IF the republican want to beat any democrat in nov they must nominate huckabee.
He is the only sane voice in that field. All the rest are pretenders in thier own lifes.

Mike Huckabee is a strong leader who has had the unenviable job of cleaning up the mess when his precesssor was forced to resign as governor. He handled that situation with grace and strength then proceeded to develop a consensus in the legislature that was dominated by democrats. During his tenure, he oversaw the creation of a world class health care program for Arkansas children, the implimentation of education standards and methodilogy that is considerd and model for the nation, and oversaw one of the largest surpluses in state buget history. Mike is a strong man, a strong Christian, and a great husband and father. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could say those things about our next president?
