Fred Thompson's Communications Director Is Out

Word from Republicans close to the Fred Thompson committee is that campaign manager designee Bill Lacy has asked communications director Linda Rozett to leave.

If you wrote this in a book, it would be considered a work of fiction. This is the worst run non-campaign I have witnessed. Are they going to hire Bob Dole's Communication people? Until now Dole had the worst run campaign and this new guy is recycled out of there.

At least Sen Dole could speak. That speech of Thompson's Saturday in Indy was horrible on top of the one for the VFW. Now reading more applause before the speech then during or after which speaks volumes. Only people touting the speech as best ever are Fredheads.

One Fredo has already resigned today, and now its time for another Fredo to call it quits.

Thomson campaign is a total disaster. Period.

First he had, Collamore, a tobacco lobbyist, who was fired. Then he had Abraham, a Big Oil lobbyist and lobbyist for Qaddafi, who was replaced. This is what happens when some empty head young beauty is controlling the campaign.

By the way, why has this communication director been fired? The candidate, Fredo, has no message at all. Then why blame it on communication director? I guess the only message that Fredo has is, 'please vote for me because I earned millions working as a foreign lobbyist for all these years and I am married to a young trophy wife'.

This Fredo is simply a lazy empty suite. He needs to call it quits and support someone like Huckabee.

Thomson is a joke. One day he is wearing Gucci shoes and campaigning sitting in a golf cart in Iowa, the other day he is calling Cuban immigrants "terrorist".

He is as fake as his story about he riding in his red pickup truck during his senate campaign. He is going to be the political joke of this election cycle.
