Giuliani Responds To Fred Thompson

If this is specifically addressing the 2nd amendment right to bear arms, I'm pretty sure it takes a lot more than decreasing guns to change the violent crime trends of a city. For example; enforcing laws, hiring more police, cleaning out business and gangs that foster crime, harsher punishments, more rehabilitation services, community watches, etc., etc,. etc. When it comes to NY, Rudy is the man, no doubt. I just don't think its forthright to single out their gun laws as the major reason for the improvement.

Fred needs to lay off Rudy. Can't touch him on crime related issues in NYC. More guns would have equaled more gun deaths. That's no good.

I genuinely want to know the statistics for the number of guns stolen from law-abiding citizens, how many people hurt themselves with their own guns, and then how many lives are protected because someone had a gun. I'm not trying to flame, I'm seriously interested. I have no doubt that more guns will equal more gun accidents and death. I'm for guns, and I own several for hunting and self protection. But, what about the lives that are saved? Is there a reliable source for that number? It seems to me to be a little over the top to say that the criminals will rule the streets if law-abiding citizens aren't allowed to have guns. But, if the number of saves is significantly lower than the number of deaths, what then?

"When it comes to NYC," William Bratton was the man. Rudy G just took the credit for it after kicking Bratton to the curb.

Rudy sure is "the man" when it comes to going to baseball games and dissing actual heroes, though.

Rudy is a the same guy who was banging his girl friend while still married to his second wife in the bunker of emergency center that he forced the city to put in WTC building against advice of experts. Now this same phony Rudy is teaching lessons of NYC to others!!

Simply put, Rudy who once was married to his cousin is a fraud who exploited and thrived on the deaths of people who died on 9/11. Thats all.

While Thomson is another phony who is married to a girl 25 years younger than him and who is a lazy lobbyist who looks very sick. Remember how he traveled in the golf cart in Iowa?

What we need is a true conservative like Tancredo or Brownback.

Rudy is the same guy who spent only 29 hours at WTC site during the three months after 9/11 while he spent almost 60 hours at Yankee stadium in just 2 months after 9/11.

Truely a sad day, when the best the Republicans can put forward, is a guy who has been married 3x, kept a mistress at Gracie Mansion and is in favor of gay marriage,gun control and illegal immigrant sanctuary cities.
He did a good job on 9-11 but just that he did his job....nothing more...nothing less.

And remember he lost to Hillary for the Senate. BTW whatever happened to that cancer scare that forced him to drop out
