Alan Keyes May Be Weighing A Presidential Bid

07 Sep 2007 11:10 am

Former U.S. Amb. Alan Keyes is sending signals to allies that he is weighing a late bid for the Republican presidential nomination, two sources close to the two-time presidential candidate say.

This week, Keyes's name was registered to participate in the West Virginia Republican convention in 2008 -- that party's delegate selection contests. The entry fee is $5000 and the deadline for payment was last Friday, according to the state party's website.

Sources close to Keyes confirmed that he has begun to talk to some of his longtime advisers about a run. But they said he did not direct RenewAmerica, a grassroots activist group he chairs, to send in the fee.

RenewAmerica has started an active Draft Keyes movement through its political action committee. The PAC paid for a table at the Iowa Republican Party straw poll in Ames last month, and Mary Parker Lewis, Keyes's long-time chief of staff, wrote in an e-mail that she would probably rejoin RenewAmerica soon.

But, she, said, "To date, I would say he has only very provisionally, only in principle, approved their efforts as a moral conservative voter mobilization," Lewis said.

Renew America's website includes this paragraph:

"Alan has also given the movement's leaders his general permission to undertake their effort in the first place — on the condition that they make it clear that, while he is aware of what they are doing and generally approves of it, they are acting independently of him and assume full responsibility for the effort.

For the record, this enterprise is entirely these leaders' idea — not Dr. Keyes' — and Alan has never encouraged them to undertake it."

One source said Keyes wants to speak at the Family Research Council's Values Voter Summit in Washington, scheduled for October 19 through the 21st.

Keyes calls himself a "declarationist" and has said that judges should interpret the constitution as it was written and in light of the "self-evident" truths contained within the Declaration of Independence. His earlier presidential bids have earned him the reputation as being a great debater and a great foil for "mainstream" conservatives but little else. He's also a three time former U.S. Senate nominee, having most recently tried to beat a guy named Barack Obama in Illinois.

Of course he is, that is what he does.

Alan Keyes has learned that running a losing campaign can be a very lucrative business. In the past he paid himself a six figure income out of his campaign donations.

Alan Keyes may do one thing I thought impossible, make Ron Paul look good.

Oh please, yes. I assume he's hoping for a rematch against Obama, 'cause that went so well the last time.

Next up: Where's Dan Quayle?

Soooooooomewheeeeeere, over the rainbow, skies are blue....

Bonus points to the readers of Marc's blog that know the reference.

If Alan Keyes believes that judges should interpret the constitution as it was written and intended by our founding fathers, shouldn't he not be able to vote or hold office? Does he believe someone has the right to enslave him?

You can look at many campaigns - be it for the school board, US President or dog catcher - and you can discern the point where it ceases being about the issues or someone crusading for "change," and becomes simply about the ego of that person. We've clearly reached that point with Keyes. He's a megalomaniac who is enamored with his own booming voice.

And Liz, Ron Paul needs no one to look good. He does that fine by himself, despite all the idiots flailing about around him. Interesting how we finally have a politician who has principles, has original ideas (no, I don't agree with him 100%), and doesn't fit the slick willy mode, and he's attacked for being such. Damn if you do,...

In other Republican news... Senator Inhofe almost endorsed Thompson this morning because of Thompson's skepticism about global warming. Indeed, Thompson has expressed rather skeptics views in the past, which contrasts him with Giuliani.
More information at Campaign Diaries.

Great debater, huh? I particularly liked Keyes' point that gay marriage will cause incest because, whether adopted or artificially inseminated, the children will never know who their parents or siblings are.

Of course, that applies to all adopted children, but Keyes didn't seem to acknowledge that.

So after all the hype Freddie turned out to be the flavor of yesterday? And now repubs are looking at Keyes as a savior? Jesus must be smiling.

Ron Paul does not look good in the eyes of 99% of Americans (real Americans with bones and flesh -- not computer generated pseudo-Americans).

The REPUBLICANS are not looking to Alan Keyes, Alan Keyes is looking for some campaign money.

Joy! This brings to light another prime opportunity for someone to out Alvin Williams, the day-to-day of one of the sleazy organizations that Keyes uses to keep his large tab at Morton's paid.

First, Maya, and now maybe Alvin?

Check out BAMPAC -- this is not a organization many Keyes hypocrite-exposers look to often, and that's a shame. A little snooping around over there will uncover a closet case and some financial shenanigans.

Liz is a Chinese Bot.

See how ridiculous it sounds? Stop acting like such a turkey. 3.14M people watched the most recent republican debate; 33% of those who voted (let's assume 20% of viewers bothered to do so, from the 80/20 rule) voted for Paul. Unless someone has found a way to hack a poll that records your cell # when you text them (color me dubious) I'd say that refutes your argument about "pseudo-Americans" outright. (That comes to 207,240 people who bothered to flip open their phones and text in for Paul, unless my math is wrong [highly possible, I'm just a geologist/lawstudent].)

I believe the word I'm looking for here is "PWN3D."

Alan Keyes makes Tom Tancredo seem like a reasonable and compassionate guy.

...and I think it's the other 9 Republican candidates that make Ron Paul look good. They're a bunch of cheerleaders, clamoring to shout how they can protect us from evil muslims, immigrants, and gays.

Ron Paul actually cares about making this country great again, not just with empty rhetoric.

Sincerely,
Computer Generated Pseudo-American #T17569

Malfunction! Malfunction! Free thought inhibitors disabled!

@Liz
I am a human being goddammit! Not a "computer generated pseudo-American". I want my vote to have value, so I'll be voting for Ron Paul. I am moderately more excited about Keyes joining the fray than I am about F. Thompson, but that's not saying much. But, yay! Another pro-war Republican, bring 'em on, it only serves to further solidify Ron Paul's position.

"Ron Paul does not look good in the eyes of 99% of Americans (real Americans with bones and flesh -- not computer generated pseudo-Americans)."
What a douche bag. Sir, apparently you have talked to 99% of Americans?

You certainly have not been watching American politics. Who has won 8 Straw Polls so far? Who won both the text message and online FOX polls? Who has more money than John McCain? That's right.... it's our next president: Ron Paul.

Computer generated pseudo Americans?
Tell that to the good people of Englewood Florida. On Labor Day they turned out by the thousands to watch their annual parade. What they saw were hundreds of Ron Paul supporters marching in the parade along with over 20 vehicles decorated top to bottom with Ron Paul stuff. The marchers mingled with the crowd handing out school notebooks to the kid and Ron Paul fliers to the adults. People came out of the crowd to stop marchers and vehicles to ask questions and to get more Ron Paul stuff like bumper stickers, etc. I know, I was there.
Also, the straw poll picture is even better than what the previous comment indicated. Of 23 polls so far, Ron Paul has finished in the top three 17 times. He has beaten Giuliani 20 times.
And let's not forget the nearly 42,000 MeetUp members.
The Ron Paul Revolution is real, growing and coming to YOUR neighborhood.

I'm with Liz. Honorable republicans don't cheat in polls. Honor dictates that the American State must destroy 3rd world countries a long way away from here instead. Or something like that.

Dishonorable, modest, freedom loving Ron Paul bots, even though they can't cheat in text polls because the poll doesn't allow it... well they are so dishonorable that they cheat anyway, and they are crazy because they think that foreigners are bad for not liking our invasions, and fighting back at us. Really, the reason they don't like us is because they were bad before the beginning, and darkness hates the light, you know. The forces of light can do no wrong. Let's light up the desert with some nuclear fire! None shall stand before us.

Regards to the rest of you.

Fantastic, another Republican warmonger who thinks there are islamo-fascists under his bed to even further dilute the pro-war vote.

The Bush propaganda machine has spooled up to sell the Petraeus report. Hillary and the Democrats will hand Bush another blank check to fund his war, and the American public will be waking up to the fraud just in time for the primaries.

I like Ron Paul's chances.

"computer generated pseudo-American".

I just thanked god I'm not married to you... If you don't let that hate out of your heart you're going to be a not so nice person. I'm a former paratrooper and gulf war vet, helicopter pilot, small business owner, married father of four. I would gladly take a bullet for Ron Paul. I'm not alone and our numbers are growing. Enjoy your neo con socialist nigh mare..it's coming to an end.

Liz and Brian are typical Bushie loving republicans who are in denial just like their leader. Probably one of those who get all their news from the Faux a.k.a. American Pravada. And as the surveys have shown again and again that Faux Bushies are most ignorant people.

Since Alan Keyes daughter, Maya Keyes, is a lesbian its clear that "sexual hedonism" and "incest" goes on in that household and also that of Cheney household.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/2002180540_keyes15.html

Keyes is a real shining knight in the republican shining armor while Ron Paul is just a pseudo-American..lol.

They weren't booing Ron Paul. Fox flashed Rudy on the screen...That's what they were booing. I'm sure all the neo's joined in after (they thought)someone with balls had started the booing for them. Pathetic..You're all so predictable. Youtube it, school me.

VIVA RON PAUL!!

Liz, you're proud of your statements, I'm sure. You're factually incorrect, but I have no idea if that means anything to you. So let me appeal to you this way: do you like embracing anything (a politician, the "official story," britney spears) that appeals to 99% of the denizens of this idiot nation?

Wow, what a basis for an argument. I'm reminded of Akroyd on SNL: "Jane, shut up you ignorant slut."

Duncan Hunter must be the happiest man on Earth, he won't be last in the polls anymore.

Liz, you're an idiot. You're apparently also the poster child for what's wrong with the Republiscam party nowadays. You dis Ron Paul and his supporters, true patriots trying to get back to Constitutional principles, make us strong at home, and preserve us from the plundering of the Democraps.

Yet you have the idiocy to defend the current administration, those who have lied to the citizens, broken laws, wasted our financial and human resources, made a mockery of the Constitution, and generally fucked the whole world up?

What... are you scared of Dr. Paul and him taking away your security blanket? Shut up jane you ignorant slut.

"Ron Paul does not look good in the eyes of 99% of Americans (real Americans with bones and flesh -- not computer generated pseudo-Americans)."

Liz, you are funny. But you have to give him credit for his brilliant internet spam conspiracy. And the very lifelike robots he gets in good numbers whenever he speaks.

Looks like the liberals have dusted off their slanderous talking points here.

Why is that? Why waste all this energy attacking Alan Keyes?

It doesn't take a genius to figure it out:

Fact is, even liberals are smart enough to see Alan Keyes is brilliantly the best representative of everything they hate: life, liberty, and most of all, God. They target him for that reason.

Moderate Republicans fear him because he exposes their hypocrisy. Plus, they can't control him.

But everyone knows that no one has led our national consciousness against abortion like Alan Keyes. No one can be more trusted to lead America away from liberalism. No one matches his ability and courage to speak to the heart of the truth. No one today is clearer or more forthright in articulating an America-loving, God-fearing agenda. He tells you what you need to hear, whether you like it or not.

He ain't no FRudy McRomney!

That's why y'all are bringing up garbage against this great man. You know he is great, so you just can't help yourselves.

No one holds a candle to Alan Keyes in fearlessly and capably carrying the torch for Reagan's principles all these years. That's the elephant in the room y'all are would rather hide under a newspaper of lies.

So what about when Alan Keyes enriches his pockets on the backs of unsuspecting direct-mail donors in the name of God and country?

Do you support that too, actual Republican?

Art Eats World:

You aren't going to get very far parroting phony talking points.

Why not just tell us why you fear Alan Keyes?

The fact that he is worth your time speaks VOLUMES. I love it.

Wow, Alan Keyes got DESTROYED by Obama running in Illinois.

He won't be able to raise any money this time. This is much ado about nothing.

Art Eats World QUOTE: “Joy! Your insinuation that Black conservatives can’t be trusted with money is another losing strategy. Really, you and MoveOn.org need to regroup if that is the best you can do. Lies, like flies, don’t last long when drawn to the light.

Honestly, if I had one million dollars to personally aid good men like Alan Keyes or Alvin Williams, I would. It certainly is money better spent than giving $1.00 to the RINO-infested RNC. Talk about money down the drain!

Hey An Actual Republican - why don't you go study history and contrast Keyes to Barry Goldwater, who truly defined conservatism. His vision: liberty at home, free from state-sponsored religious oppression; leadership abroad through a strong defense and pursuit of our strategic interests; and a culture that unifies the citizens through honest patriotism, civic duty and a respectful engagement in ideas, even if you disagree with him. Did you know BG and JFK conducted joint town-hall meetings to debate policies across the country before the assassination? Ideas and points of view were actually exchanged without shouting and name calling, ala Mr. Keyes.

Keyes vision: religiously-driven policies and laws that enforce his narrow view of morality; a culture of exclusion and hate if you disagree with his views; and isolationism and retraction from our interests abroad, that weaken our global leadership.

You wouldn't know true conservatism if it offered you a free blow job. Keyes is a characture of a human being.

Barry Goldwater was pro-choice and became increasingly liberal in his in later years.

(Every conservative knows that.)

No, thanks. I prefer the Reaganism of Alan Keyes.

Hey "An Actual Republican"

If you define "increasingly liberal" as someone who voiced a concern about the takeover of the GOP by religious zealots, then so be it. But only someone with an agenda, such as religious zealotry, would call BG a liberal.

Do you have the balls to openly admit that you're not a true conservative, but a Ralph Reed, Jerry Falwell religious wacko, who would be nothing but estatic if you could impose your jihad on the secular masses of this country? Go ahead admit it... you're primary concern is gay marriage, playboy magazines in the 7-11, or some other critically important issue.

You guys are so easy to smoke out, its pathetic. At least the stupid left-wingers had the sense to make most of the commies and socialists form their own parties and avoid the takeover by the crazed minority. The GOP embraced the evangelicals and look what it got us... the idiot from tex-ass and a completely wasted two term presidency and control of Congress. God, when I think of the great things a BG conservative could have done with that time & power. Instead its squandered worrying about Terry Schiavo. Thanks, you're a genius.

"Liz is a Chinese Bot. "

What language is that? Is it supposed to make sense in English?

I am not Chinese nor a bot. I am one of 299,999,854 Americans who will NOT be voting for Ron Paul.

Your insinuation that Black conservatives can’t be trusted with money is another losing strategy.

Alan Keyes can't be trusted with money, regardless of his color.

Will all you Ron Paul people please come back here on the morning of 2/6/2008 and tell us how you feel?

A Barry Goldwater Conservative QUOTE: "If you define "increasingly liberal" as someone who voiced a concern about the takeover of the GOP by religious zealots . . ."

You lost me.

Like Ronald Reagan, and John F. Kennedy, Alan Keyes believes our rights come from God, not government. That represents the traditional American view.

It's the other side that has tried a takeover. In 1992, Goldwater attempted to yank the pro-life plank from the GOP platform, and derided G.H.W. Bush for his pro-life stance. By 1996, liberal Republicans were out in force, but thankfully, Alan Keyes successfully used his influence to keep the pro-life platform intact, so that by 2000, all GOP candidates had to at least pay it lip service. Today, even more so.

Unapologetically continuing the Reagan legacy of respect for life is one of Alan Keyes' greatest accomplishments. More power to him.

If you don't like it, join the Green Party.

To Liz:

At least your hit-and-run personal attacks have no semblance to reality.

Give Alan Keyes some credit. Like President Bush, he's way above Reagan, who “cut and run” from Lebanon, after 241 American Marines were killed by the Hezbollah bomb. Bush would have stayed the course. I believe that Alan Keyes would do the same as our current president.

Unlike Reagan, who in a 1985 effort to free a few American hostages being held in Lebanon, authorized the sale of 107 tons of anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles to Iran – President Bush stands up to the Iranians, and would never consider appeasement or negotiations, let alone selling them weapons - a traitorous act by Reagan that would never have been committed by Alan Keyes.

Alan Keyes is in a league all his own, high above Reagan.

Liberals, psycho-babblers and global-warmers love to slap anyone who dares to debate them with the "denial" label, and yet, watch them in their frenzy of denial over the mushrooming popularity of liberty, property, and peace whose banner is currently being carried by Ron Paul, truly a gentleman and a scholar.

I've actually seen Alan Keyes speak (back in 2000), and got to talk to him during the Q&A. I did not care for his espoused goals in the slightest, and his mistreatment of the Black Muslims who took issue with his views on this being a "Christian" nation.

One's religion is a wonderful thing, or at least it can be. However, imputing those values to the rest of us is at odds with the pluralism that gave rise to our nation's birth. The factional nature of the Protestant faith (especially at the time) was rather important to WHY people moved to the colonies at such risk and expense.

Mr. Keyes may indeed be sincere. I think that frightens me more. He's perfectly welcome to run, and to say what he likes. If I can advocate policies and proscriptions, I am in no position to deny him the same. However, I think he's batty, and would be a very dangerous man as President.

When I heard Keyes disowned his daughter when he found out she is a lesbian, that was the last straw. Many caricatures like Keyes milk half senile direct mail donors to fund their hypocrtical lifestyle, but people like Alan Keyes and Alvin Williams are some the vilest with their own private lifesytles. Trust me on this one.

It's time to put an end to it.

Shine some light at the folks at BAMPAC and I guarantee some young aspiring investigative blogger a damn fine story.

The only movement Alan Keyes has ever led is the ones that happen a couple hours after he eats something with alot of fiber.

All this nonsense about Ron Paul supporters "cheating" in polls is unsubstantiated BS. The Fox News scumbag commentators tried to insinuate as much the other night when it became evident, once again, that Ron was dominating their text message poll, despite the fact that it is a known impossibility to vote multiple times from any given cell phone (and they know it!)

These losers just don't want to face the fact that Ron Paul is for real and LOTS of real Americans, who are sick of the same old, same old, are excited that a genuine, no-BS freedom lover is in the race.

I saw some Keyes promoters at the Iowa Straw Poll.

I support Ron Paul, but I didn't vote in any of the text polls. I don't have text messaging.

Why does Fox run these polls when they know how they will turn out? Oh yeah, they are that stupid. They sued someone for using the phrase "Fair and Balanced".
Could it be that many of the people who say they are for the other guys don't bother tuning in to hear their boring candidate?

He has MY vote

Liberals once again earn the title of 'mental midgets'. America needs leaders with some internal fortitude. There is no one on deck who has any of that. The entire field of candidates on both sides are full of loud mouth incompetents. Paul is no better than Keye's, both are better than Bush.
The dime store dummy Romney, who reminds me of a 'Stepford' husband to the phony Hillary who reminds me of a 'Stepford' wife. To the closet Islamic Obama, to the unstable Rudy. The CFR stooge Fred, is no good either. At least Keye's would stir up the pot and bring out the best, and worst in the other candidates. I don't expect Alan to win but I hope he runs. Someone has to break the hold that the dullards have on the elections, and this country...

Alan Keyes is brilliant and I am ecstatic to see him enter this race. He scares the heck out of liberals that have adopted the errors of communism and would make a great, great President. I just wish the rest of conservative America would stop electing disappointing RHINO's (Republican In Name Only) to office.

By the way, he is certainly NOT an egomaniac. In case you haven't noticed, our country has a lot of problems to fix and he is a man that feels passionate about changing them. He is a crusader...big difference.

All you alls that are spoutin' POLLS…..
...The POLLS said John Kerry won the presidency, too!!
Fools.
Liz, I won’t be voting for the freak Ron Paul either.

Judging by all the left-wing wacko posts, sounds like Keyes is the Man!

Liz is the best argument for repealing the 19th Amendment.

Hi People:
You are dreaming.Republicans never let Ron P. or Alan K. to be a front runner. And if they run as a independent, than welcome the first woman president,Mrs. Clinton, and womeniser Billy Boy as a first man. We,the voters must start to look in to what kind of people we elect.Ron Poul is a great man,and a very good American, but he is 72 years old.Runing against the war is not enough.
Somebody please ask him, what he wants to do with those radical muslims who wants to elliminate every Christian nation on earth. In the same time we can ask all of the other Bush, and republican hater anti American liberals, and those Hollywood trash, what they want to do with peopole who wants to kill us? The bigest problem today, we have lots a good democrat and republicans, but we don't have to many God loving unquestionable good American politician. God Bless you all,and we must pray to God to save our nation, becouse looks like we cant.

Why the fuck did the asshole moderator of this blog not post my response? Suck my dick pillowbiter.

Hey, An Actual Republican -

Two things: First, check out the 10th amendment to the US Constitution and you'll see why Goldwater did not support federal powers over abortion law. You're a goddamn idiot, btw. Thanks for ruining my party.

And second, I'll join the green party when Alan Keyes gets more than 1/10th of 1% in a national election. In the meantime, I'll keep fucking yore wife up the shithole because I'm bored. You fucking religious wacko gonna suck satan's cock in hell forever moron. You and Falwell can have a threesome with hitler when you die and burn in hades, you piece of human refuse.

Hey Liz - I won't have to come here the morning of 2/6 and tell you how I feel, because we'll be together as I continue to fuck you and 'An Actual Republican's' wife up the shithole because I'm bored.

You Bushie & Keyes fans are so fuckin stupid, you're betrayed your country and party due to blind, religious hypnotism.

Do I think Ron Paul can win? Of course not. Does that mean he's not right? Of course not, goddamn it. He's the best we got and thank you for making sure our country remains fucked up. Go Hillary, go Rudy, yeah.

The current Republican administration is headed towards driving off the cliff, just like the liberals. I'm done giving my votes to candidates like these. We need a "180" in this country and a leader to make it happen...NOT someone cut out of the same Republican mold we've seen from the Bush family.

I can understand the view that if you don't run for the media's anointed "front runners" then you are throwing away your vote, but I just can't do it anymore! My single vote is a privilege and I will honor it with the best candidate I see fit for the job.

I believe in the principles of the Declaration that says our rights come from God and not from a govt. that can take our rights away. I think if we are built on that, then we should not be ashamed of God. We should honor Him on our monuments and coins. I believe religion is the soil of virtue and it should be encouraged because freedom means responsibility. We need to be virtuous, independent, self-controlled, free people. If this makes me a religious zealot or an intolerant bigot, then so be it! I want to live in a country like that!

A TRUE Barry Goldwater Conservative is too classy and smart to exhibit such a complete lack of intelligence and decorum.

Yet, you are the very epitome of a demented Ron Paul supporter.

Congratulations, the Congressman must be so very proud to have you on his team.

Liz. Haha, pissed you off. Suck it baby.

What an embarrassment, several of you must be to the candidates you profess to support! And shame on you, your mother would wash your mouth out with soap!

Some of the most blatant offenders remind me of what my College Professor wrote on the blackboard, to grab our attention as we first sat down in class: "PROFANITY is the Supreme Effort of a FEEBLE MIND to express itself forcefully."

'Nuff said, on that issue.

Poor Barry Goldwater... he started out with a sane approach, but Alzheimer's and dementia became very obvious as he aged... because he began endorsing weird concepts that he had earlier condemned.

He not only flip-flopped on abortion (euphemistically called now, 'pro-choice' as though camouflaging MURDER of the helpless, changes its corrupt and despicable nature!), and he flip-flopped on Queer Rights, too. So Barry DISQUALIFIED himself from his ranking as a CONSERVATIVE!

So, if you want to hold on to BG, hold on to him when he was good, wholesome and uncorrupted (and un-demented, as well!). Otherwise, don't try to pull the wool over the eyes of readers that are too young to remember.

As for "Pitting against each other" our decent Republican candidates, with inflammatory accusations, this will only divide us... and remember, "United we STAND, divided we FALL."

We need all of the clear thinking voters to unite and NOT--- GO FISHING, come election day. Or by default, we'll have a camouflaged Commie in the white house (again).

I think Ron Paul is a fine, principled, well-spoken powerhouse of a candidate. But cursing and defaming his rivals, will not generate sympathy for the fine congressman/candidate.

Furthermore, there are a few (tragically few) other good candidates, as well. Governor Mike Huckabee (the lone candidate who wants to eliminate the tyrannical IRS, as he supports the sensible FAIR TAX... Read Neal Boortz's book by that title. Any fair critic is silenced when he reads the book!)

In addition to Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, & Tom Tancredo are all credible, honest, solid conservatives... Notably NOT like the other RINO's, such as Guilianni, McCain and Fred CFR Thompson.

So, let's attack the RINO'S and Neo-Cons, and let's NOT divide ourselves with irrational and unstable and inconsistent positions. Let's rally around someone who can win, and not destroy him beforehand.

As for Alan Keyes, he is a brilliant thinker, a skilled debater who can take the most complex thought and simplify it so that his position cannot be attacked with common sense and logic.

So, Dear Readers... remember that when the "mentally challenged" writers contribute to this and other blogs/commentaries, and they present their thoughts with Unreasoning Anger and vulgarities... simply dismiss them as the "Lightweights" they are, and ignore them.

Let's us "good-guys" stay united, and rally around a true conservative, and help him win!

Sincerely and Desperately for the salvation of America,
Aerostar

I invite you and your college professor to go fuck yourselves. Keyes couldn't carry Goldwater's jockstrap.

Thank you for proving my point, you phony.

I'll not stoop to your gutter, to comment on you any further, other than this: You are not important enough. You are beneath contempt. I only have PITY for you.

No, ABGC, you did not piss me off.

I feel nothing but complete pity for you.

I feel pity for the whole GOP.
