Outrageous

03 Oct 2007 06:34 pm

While Republicans are busy being OUTRAGED at attacks on poor, defenseless, voiceless Rush Limbaugh and still simmering in OUTRAGE over a silly ad in a newspaper, this column humbly suggests thet direct their outrage to something _genuinely_ outrageous:

The 2008 RNC Convention symbol is a blue elephant. With stars for eyes.

Whaaaat?

Aren't the Democrats who are making a big deal being OUTRAGED over Limbaugh a little outrageous themselves?

Uhhhh, no. Democrats are outraged at a chickenhawk smearing American veterans, and frankly, so am I.

Republicans are just continuing their juvenile pattern of being outraged at Democratic outrage.

Why debate the actual issue when you can debate the outrage itself? Republican Tactics 101.

Ha ha ha! A beautiful representation of a dead elephant.

Can ya hear a rumbling? It's the conservative just getting up off the mat to go to war. Ya'all probably can't hear it, but conservatives can.
The left has been mad so long they think they will win on righteous indignation and base language.
While the "Rush vs the wingnut battle" is small in and of itself, the left's overreaching becomes cumulative. They are awakening the grassroots, which is not so smart for the Clinton camp. She is not that attractive candidate, ya know.
Ya'all were so sure Kerry would win and were bragging before the election. The polls all said so, the election nite survey's said so, but the voters said differently.
It's absolutely STUPID for the Libs to pick a fight with Rush because you ignite the base and he will make sure it does. So, yeah, he can stick up for himself, but is Media Matters a plus or minus?
Is spending time in the Senate to discuss this, smart for the Dem's? Reid is a fool.

Rush is a demagogic no-talent ass clown

Is this going to get into The Atlantic's boldest tomorrow? Historically, the Republican Party color is blue. Red is the traditional color of left-of-center parties everywhere. And was in the united states until the 2000 map stayed in the news for a week and happened to have Dems in blue.

... and a wide stance
