"However, Dobson spoke out against the idea of a third party even if "both Democratic and Republican nominees are known to be entirely unsupportive of the sanctity of human life, the institution of marriage and other aspects of the pro-moral agenda," according to Gary Schneeberger, a spokesman for Focus on the Family Action."

I don't buy it. We are one more Larry Craig away from a permanent split. Are there any more Larry Craigs?
I am sure there are, but they probably are using more secure rest rooms. Rumor has it there are several closeted repukes in congress.
I've been a registered independent for 14 years, and I find that it is impossible to vote for just about any of the serious contenders on either side this year. I think the only hope for America is a third party to come along and sound the death knell of one of our too-long established current parties.
Well, as long as they support war and empire (or as they would say "understand the threat"), I guess neocons don't care.
I just read an article stating that the Larry Craig Memorial Restroom at the Minneapolis airport has had one major renovation...the stall dividers go all the way down to the floor. We will be there for a couple of hours next week...I'll send DH in to check it out. At least he won't have to contend with toe-tappers!
As a Christian, I believe the Christian leadership in America have proven to have an amazing lack of discernment, so much so that their announcements other than a third political party are of no value covering continued denial of evils and considerable lack of being informed.
It is evident that both DEM and GOP hierarchy no longer serve the people, nor in their Godless ways follow the teachings of Christ. The wisdom of our current leaders both secular and religious have failed miserably, true Christians as witness would do well to vote in manner that replaces all present representitives in government.
It is time that America whose lifestyle depends upon enslaving third world peoples for an 80% importation of 'Gods Blessings' discern which god is involved. It is time to expose sin where found, not luxuriate in world suffering and usury.
What I am affraid may be the case, is that I am now talking to .01% of Americas population, excluding many church leaders.

Wow, that was fast.
Disappointing. It could have made things even more interesting! Query whether it will happen anyway.
