At JJ, It's Probably Going To Be Obama's Night, Crowdwise

The only cheers you can hear on television are: "Ready to Go. Fired Up" -- the Obama fight mantra. And occasionally -- "O-Ba-Ma." (Ok, and occasionally: "Kucinich! Kucinich!"

Oh there are cheers here for Obama as well. My husband and I are big supporters.

Edwards is coming to the end of his speech. It's been really quite for him. I think his timing is off on this one. Poor JE. I really hoped he would do well.

HRC sounds so rehearsed and uninspiring. I thought this might be a good turn around point for her, but it fell flat.

I think John Edwards blew his speech. Hillary Clinton did well but when followed by Obama was overshadowed. Obama was inspiring and motivational and really truly presidential. If tonight was a preview, hands down I know who's nominee aceptance speech I want to hear at the convention.

I think he sealed the deal tonight and playing signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours was cool as was the introduction.

The only other person I really think who stood out in the second tier was Biden. He gave a serious speech and co-opted a lot of Obama's lines to spin in his favor. But I don't think it was enough to break through because Obama didn't just deliver a message of hope but a reason why he wants and should be president that I think will resonate.

edwards gave the best speech even getting props from obama supporters on daily kos.

I see obama supporters here are making stuff up, but maybe we can agree clinton's speech was awful and painfully SLOW

Daily Kos is a hotbed of Edwards supporters - it's practically his own personal little forum. He will always win any poll over there. Obama supporters are generally pretty fair minded and lately the Hillary crowd has been so obnoxious that the Obama and Edwards crowd have been somewhat united in the anti-Clinton cause. So Edwards' speech wasn't so much lauded as Clinton's was pilloried, but the general consensus seems to be it was Obama's night.

Here's what they're saying in Iowa about the event:

The new New Hampshire poll released yesterday has Clinton collapsing by 10 points, but there is no anti-Clinton majority as she is the top second choice of both Edwards and Obama voters. Link

New Florida poll of the primary and of the general election, check it out because they are really interesting -- especially the GOP primary numbers.
