More On Robertston And Giuliani

07 Nov 2007 10:48 am

I asked Atlantic intern.political junkie Chris Bodenner to send along his observations from the scene of the Pat Roberston endorsement press conference in Washington.

Why did Robertson make this choice: "Rudy is best to counter the "bloodlust of islamist terrorists," he said. And Rudy had a "spirit of bipartisanship" during his term as mayor, Rudy is a "true fiscal conservative" and Rudy shares Robertson's "judicial philosophy."

Robertson said his endorsement was "not some calculated decision" in response to a question regarding electability.

Robertson pointed out that "we both survived" prostate cancer and that Giuluani called him when he was sick (they laughed and shook hands and displayed a moment of affection)

Why didn't Giuliani fly Robertson to Northwestern Iowa to announce this endorsement? A DC endorsement means national media coverage, which means that Giuliani's campaign probably wants the press to focus on the "this helps him with Christians" theme rather than the "this helps him in Iowa" theme.

And where, in all of this coverage, is CBN's David Brody?

There can be no worst manic alliance than this. Talk about giving in moral values for the sake of global wars and suffering ("war" on terror), the perfect excuse to keep imposing our empire to the rest of the world. Pat Robertson is a hypocrat, GOD does not compromise his values. THis is another proof his TV program is a propaganda medium to mislead and manipulate the naive, and basically get his public support. Ron Paul is the only decent option in the GOP, but he may not have too many changes, so Clinton/Obama are looking like more pragmatic options. Robertson has no integrity and should be disfellowed from the Christian Church.

What can you tell us about this story?:

A judge declares the Jan. 15th Michigan primary law unconstitutional. What's going on here? Might Michigan end up not having a Jan. 15th primary after all?

Well, it appears the terrorist right wing has truly 'lost it's way,' with this announcement, and Robertson anything but a bible believing Christian. Incredible how the leftist right can 'justify' their positions as 'Godly' when they are anything but, unless their Bible is a 'foreign translation' of which many are unaware. The Prince of Peace would not condone the war, nor Roe vs. Wade/abortion on demand. Just goes to show you where this 'spirtual' leaders spirit really lies, or maybe he is looking to the time when those 'stem cells' from aborted fetuses will be needed to treat his dementia.
