On the Huckabee Tax Video

It's not so much whether the context is right or whether Huckabee is or isn't a solid fiscal conservative -- it's about whether this video is used by an opponent in a television ad and whether the Iowa media, at some point in December, runs the clip over-and-over.

Isn't that last sentence just a complete abdication of the job of journalism? I hope the local press in Iowa takes their job seriously enough that they won't run clips if they know they're not particularly truthful.

I really don't think this is so damning as others, and I am certainly a fiscal conservative. Why are a few people so afraid of a Huckabee presidency? Maybe being shot at from the far left and the far right means you are right where you should be. Remember, Governor Huckabee is an outspoken proponent of the Fair Tax, the most progressive, pro-American approach to taxation available. I sure like this guy.
