Foreign Policy Credential Number #4: Already Developed A Relationship With Australia’s Prime Minister; Now Ready To Meet With State Sponsors Of Terror:

“Australia’s Conservative Prime Minister Slammed Barack Obama … Over His Opposition To The Iraq War …” (Meraiah Foley, “Australian Leader Slams US Presidential Candidate For Iraq Policy,” The Associated Press, 2/11/07)

“Obama … Told Reporters … He’s Flattered That One Of Bush’s Allies ‘Started Attacking Me The Day After I Announced (His Presidential Run) – I Take That As A Compliment.’” (“Obama Hits Back After Australian PM Slams His Iraq Stance,” CNN.com, 2/11/07)

“The Democratic Presidential Hopeful Said If The Australian Prime Minister Was ‘Ginned Up To Fight The Good Fight In Iraq,’ He Needs To Send Another 20,000 Australians To The War.” (“Obama Hits Back After Australian PM Slams His Iraq Stance,” CNN.com, 2/11/07)

In Recent Debate, Obama Didn’t Hesitate To Announce He Would Personally Meet With Leaders Of Iran, North Korea, Syria And Others. Question: “[W]ould you be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, in order to bridge the gap that divides our countries?” Obama: “I would. And the reason is this, that the notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them -- which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this administration – is ridiculous.” (Sen. Obama, CNN/YouTube Democrat Presidential Candidate Debate, Charleston, SC, 7/23/07)

“The Only Unequivocal Support Obama Received Was From Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Who Used The After-Debate Spin Sessions To Promote His Idea Of ‘Strength Through Peace.’” (Byron York, Op-Ed, “Obama’s Bad Night,” National Review, 7/24/07)

“‘Of Course The President Should Talk To Ahmadinejad And Other Such Leaders,’ Kucinich Said. ‘You Can Get On A Cell Phone And Call Somebody On The Other Side Of The World Right Now.’” (Byron York, Op-Ed, “Obama’s Bad Night,” National Review, 7/24/07)

Foreign Policy Credential #5: Member Of Foreign Relations Committee…Reluctantly.

“Listening To A Bloviating Colleague At His First Meeting Of The Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Obama Slipped A Three-Word Note To A Member Of His Staff: ‘Shoot. Me. Now.’”

LOL! Welcome to prime-time!

Maybe the first credential for a foreign policy expert is "first do no harm." Only Paul gets to delete the line: "Supported Calamitous Invasion of Foreign Power Resulting In the Deaths of Over 3000 U.S. Soldiers." Please, I really do hope the Republicans run on foreign policy, they have no idea what they are doing or talking about.

In case anyone was wondering, Obama got a degree in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations from Columbia. See here:

http://www.college.columbia.edu/cct/jan05/cover.php

Also, Obama was a coauthor of the Lugar-Obama nonproliferation initiative (I guess that is self-evident), which was signed into law and has since been funded. See here:

http://lugar.senate.gov/press/record.cfm?id=278019

It basically expands the Nunn-Lugar model to conventional weapons such as shoulder-fired anti-aircraft weapons.

This is nothing compared to what they would do with his experience in public funding for private real estate developers like Tony Rezko. Obama's Illinois Senate records may be gone, and he may not recall his lawyering days, but it's not hard to imagine more than enough documentation coming out in Rezko's federal trial.

My, My the RNC has turned their guns on Obama. They must be scared Hillary won't get the nomination.

Keith,

Is there anyone running for President, who is so clean that their shit literally doesn't stink?

E. Steven: I know they spent $52 million over several years going after Hillary without proving anything. I don't want to see RNC ads with Obama's letters of reference for Rezko superimposed onto images of boarded up apartment buildings bankrolled with public funds for a Middle Eastern landlord. Kinda makes the whole "judgement" argument implode.

Keith - you either are a Hillary Supporter or a naive fool (though being one doesn't necessarily preclude the other). Are you seriously trying to say that Hillary doesn't have more dirt than Obama? Did you miss the 1990's? how about the recent Hsu adventures? GO peddle that nonsense elsewhere

With the exception of McCain, I'm sure his foreign policy credentials are better than Rudy (I am 9/11) and Romney (???).

Lets see how you uptighty righties do against Barack Obama in the general election. Just because he is not a part of the NeoCon dominated Washington think tank that has dictated disaterous policies and promoted the politics of fear does not mean that he cannot win the hearts and minds of Americans across the spectrum. Look at all the "experienced" Bush officials who have left voluntarily or under pressure. The mutiny is evident and the ship is taking on water. Look at the travesty everyday Americans are living with the "experienced" have accomplished NOTHING in Iraq except to motivate new generations of terrorists to hate us. You say your conservative ? you people support a President that has squandered TRILLIONS of dolars for nothing ! I don`t call that a great value. Oh yeah, the party of values has been a little short there too. Huh ?

Well, this is proof that Obama is going in the right direction....

Just shows that the RNC is terrified they may have to face Obama. They know their best chance is to run against Hillary, and they'll do what they can to sink Obama early. Shame it won't work. And he'll beat any of their crappy candidates 60-40 next November.

And these are the people that chose Bush as their leader?

How ironic.

And these are the people that chose Bush as their leader?

Hillarious. Obama is an empty suit. Same with the rest of the Dems.

By contrast, look at Rudy's foreign policy experience:
He was America's mayor on 9-11, uniting the country against the foreign terrorists.
He rejected $10 million dollars from a Saudi prince who said we should re-examine our Mideast policies.
He was mayor of the largest city in the world, home to many foreigners and foreign visitors.
He served on the Iraq Study Group.

Or Romney:
Father was born in Mexico.
He served in France as a missionary, surviving being hit by a Frenchman while driving his fellow missionaries, one of whom died.
Ran a successful business, dealing with other countries.
Was CEO of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, dealing with every country in the world and ensuring a safe Olympics after the 9-11 attacks.
Was Governor of a major state, home to many foreigners.

Impressive men.

American voters won't support the taxes it would take to become the South Side of Chicago, where Obama organized a "community" where a graduate student (in Obama's neighborhood) was murdered in a robbery today. Obama's rhetorical stumbles and mumbles and bumbles (how could he not be ready for the immigration question last week?) reveal his attempts to conceal a liberal agenda.

Please how can anyone be serious about baby boy Barrak, He couldent run a 7-11,if he went to a Frys or a Berger King or any mall in the USA he wouldent be Hired, hell he could not get hired at Salvation Army, if he were white, he would be out of the race by now, but he is black so he has the black vote and the fringe. At fourty something running America Please!!!!!!!!!!

"He served on the Iraq Study Group." Hilarious is right. Giuliani didn't show up for a single meeting. That's commitment and experience for you!

Wow,
is that all the RNC got on him. If i where them i would be very scared too. Altough the rnc failed to mentioned that he was a community organizer, a civil right attorney, a law professor, the author of two best sellers. The list is simply too long folks. I'd like them to pick somebody from the other side and see how that candidate measure up with Obama. You were waiting for your girl, so that you can sore a grand slam; it's not going to happen.

WELL THE OBAMA- BOND BILL THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT ONE TO HELP VETS IS A DONE DEAL.
THIS HOMELESS VET THANKS HIM.
STILL ONLY LEADS THE GOVT HORSE TO WATER ,BUT ITS A HUGE START.

AND HIS SENATOR OBAMA SIGHT SURE LOOKS BETTER THAN THE REPUBLICAN ONE.

I DONT THINK MOST OF AMERICA WANTS MORE OF THE UH WE MADE A MULti TIRILLION $ MISTAKE on wmds killed and maimed many AND WE WANT TO RULE THE WORLD AND KEEP AMERICA BANKRUPT FRO THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY AND certain elite .

not just the two class plan.

sorry about the typos im disabled didnt spell check.

obama is wanting to negotiate peace first not bomb first.
obama is flexible regarding iraq timetables as it must be in a changing environ.
obama is a very persuasive speaker who was pres of the harvard l aw reiview i beleive, could have had it made but took the long hard raod to do good.
Isn't that what we need to avoid war and do the best for all?

if you dont have the fundamental desire to do the hardest/ the best ..
if you are sure it cant be
if you solve it all with force
the best can never happen.
thats where the gop front runner is.
corner of not and neverland.
