Unless he invests heavily in early state TV ads in the next few weeks, he's toast. Waiting til Feb. 5 is a sure loser strategy.
That said, at least he shows signs of trying to compete in Iowa. Losing to two or three candidates in Iowa, and quite possibly NH as well, might make him burnt toast.
