Translation: Hillary, the most polarizing candidate, is the biggest threat to not being able to achieve universal health care.

The Republicans did not oppose HillaryCare because they disliked Hillary. They opposed it because they knew a universal health care bill would be a huge electoral victory for the Democrats. As Bill Kristol warned, UHC "would revive the Democrats as the generous protector of middle-class interests." And the Republicans in the Senate today are way to the right of where they were in 1993.

Anyone who thinks the Power of Dodd will magically create a bipartisan consensus for universal health care is a sucker.

That was very cheesy. Desperation drives people to produce crap.

The best part is the end when he walks into the shop and you can hear the guys exclaim "hey, Chris Dodd!" Hilarious on many levels.

Were those the two least believable "real people" we've seen all year?

And yeah, those guys exclaiming "Hey, Chris Dodd!" - oy. Somebody needs a reality check..
