Clinton On Farm Policy

13 Dec 2007 02:46 pm

Good line...

“I have been following Sen. Harkin’s lead on what we should do with the farm bill.”

Tom Harkin "has been working like a trojan to get it done."

The filing room is giggling.

Still giggling. "Trojan?"

"What did she say?"

"trojan?"

Hillary's hit to Obama: "Some people believe you get change by hoping for it. I believe you get it by working hard for it."

Ha! I thought that sounded funny too.

Hillary tipped her hand. She has Trojans on the mind. No, not those kinds of trojans. It was a reference to a certain California university...

Now that New Hampshire is up for grabs, she's already thinking about the next "firewall."

However, it could yet another gaffe. How will Bruins fans react?

Just think -- the US constitution gives the American media a very special place in a democracy, especially during elections -- so that our democracy doesn't go down the drain.

"The filing room is giggling."
This reflects the problem with America's failed media. They have as much interest in intelligently informing the public about our government as a bunch of jr high adolescents.
