Major Las Vegas Union Won't Endorse Until January

Responding to rumors on the internets that Barack Obama was about to receive the extremely influential endorsement of Culinary Workers' Local 226 in Las Vegas, the local's parent union. UNITE-HERE.

The 226 endorsement will be unveiled in January.

UNITE-HERE's Midwest Regional Joint Board has endorsed John Edwards and will work with other Edwards endorsees, like the SEIU.

Cool. They're waiting to see how Edwards does in IA, which is probably the correct move for them.

By the way, little press notice last week that the Nevada State Educator's Association announced it would make no endorsement. It had been thought to be leaning towards Clinton
