This tactic is fairly common.
Identified supporters of Mitt Romney in Iowa received telephone calls at 6:00 am CT on Thursday.
But those calls weren't initiated by Romney's campaign.
So a rival campaign, hoping to make Romney supporters angry at Romney's campaign, did the deeds.


The only difference is, when the Democrats do it, they call at midnight. That says something about the tendency of Dems to be night owls versus larks.
