13 Dec 2007 03:14 pm

Moderator: "With all of the Clinton advisers on your campaign, how are you going to offer a clean break from the past?"

Obama:

HRC: "I'd like to hear the answer to this..."

Obama: "Well, Hillary, i look forward to you advising me as well."

HRC: laughs. REALLY loud.

I like how Marc focuses on Clinton when this clearly was a big, good moment for Obama.

Ah the bias. So dull.

That was what I was hoping to see from Obama -- quick on his feet in a tough spot. I've been worried about his ability to go toe to toe with the GOP in the fall but there was some real south side in that.

That wasn't Hillary laughing after the comment, that was the moderator.

Yeah, I think you got that backwards Marc. Hillary laughed REALLY LOUD before she made her comment. After Obama's retort, she pretty much was down to an embarassed giggle. It wasn't a good moment for her....

As an Obama supporter, when I first heard the question, I scrunched down in my chair... HOW is HE going to answer this!?!?!

But I have to say, Hillary Clinton, gave him an unforced error. There was no good answer to this question until she forced her way into it with her laughter and comment. It provided him with the perfect response and slam down (without really answering the question).

So I just have to wonder... after 15 years in power, do she and her advisers remain this clueless? Or do they have an Ace up their sleeve?

The Clintons have succeeded in surrounding themselves with a cadre of vicious morons; and yes, they do have an ace up their collective sleeve: vest pockets; garters; boots; hats, etc. That's why some find the Clintons so endearing. You don't have to be that good to gamble, if you can suffer the losses. However, HRC's advisors currently urge a return to, what they call, her original Charm Offensive. Charm Offensive! (They looked plenty worried too, on the verge of panic.) Well, as fart as I'm concerned, only one of those two words describes Hillary, and it sure ain't charm: http://theseedsof9-11.com

One can interpret the comment about "I look forward to you advising me as well" in a number of different ways. Perhaps he was referring to her as his vice-presidental running mate. I really believe I heard a hesitation and an added "as well as others." Perhaps he was saying he would be open to advice from many sources and is that a good thing?

How can there be a clean break from the past when we still as a country have most issues from the past still unresolved? It is fine to be philosophical but we need to be practical. We shouldn't get too carried away by rhetoric.

Look I've been an O'Bama partisan ever since I realized he was from the South Side of Chicago and of Irish descent.........just like me.

We use the term "South Side Irish". Then we drink and dance and drink some more.

Anyway, O'Bama won that round. Hillary tried to act like the pretentious royal ass she is, by interjecting herself into "his" question. He stumbled momentarily and then came back with the retort heard "round da web". You could just see her angst after he verbally slapped her down. Her sense of imperial right is mindboggling. The coronation ain't gonna happen and her strained smile after the exchange indicates things are not going to be pleasant in the Clinton household.

Senator Clinton is clearly amazed that she is losing. I have a campaign slogan for her: "Hillary Clinton for President: Why tell the truth when you can lie and why tell one lie if you can tell two". Hillary 2008. Experience(Bill's) Matters.

I don't claim to know who is going to get the democratic nomination, but I would bet my middle testicle it ain't gonna be Mrs. Clinton.

If I had been Obama I would have reminded her that they were BILL Clinton's advisers and not hers. His retort was simpler and better.

Someone reffered to her as as "Her Royal Cackler" HRC. I think that was funny.
