Mr. Giuliani's record on immigration is long and horrible! I hit its highlights recently in Human Events.

America and the GOP would be much better off without Giuliani (or Huckabee or McCain for equally horrid records) as its nominee, given how far out of step this open-borders position is from the overwhelming majority of the American people. Only Gov. Romney of the frontrunners has a decent record on immigration-related issues.
Rudy is toast. A new poll of the primary in Florida (supposedly Rudy's "firewall") has him THIRD behind Romney and Huckabee -- Giuliani has very little hope there now if he does not prevail in an early state, and that is looking unlikely at this point.
Ah yes, the modern Republican Party - where compassion and reason are "horrid" and reflexive xenophobia the order of the day.
Mr. Edwards, put it this way, unless Edwards in your case is not an English name but is instead a spelling change to some Iroquois homophone, chances are the original inhabitants of this land considered your ancestors to be illegal immigrants.
And did you notice the date on the video? September 7, 2001 - just a few days before 9/11. Clearly that's part of the message here.

Ouch! Personally I don't care because it's such a minor issue compared with all the major issues we have... but I know whackos in the GOP care about this crap so I know it will hurt him, and that is good because as a Libertarian no-one scares me more than Giuliani (especially since I live in NY suburbs and know all about this a-hole)
