I will grant you that Mormon doctrine is different than those of these 3 groups, but he speaks as if these 3 groups are all really similar and Mormonism is the oulier. Seriously? If nothing else, Mormons teach that Jesus Christ is a Savior, however differently they may define that. That puts Mormons much closer to Catholics and Protestants than Judaism is. I'm not trying to split them off either, but Thompson would be skewered if he said something that sounded remotely bigoted about Judaism, but his campaign guys can talk like this about Mormonism?! That doesn't even make sense and it certainly isn't good for America.
