If you can't be a leader, you can at least copy a leader or imitate or plagiarize a leader.
It should also be noted: On Hardball tonight, Clinton's spokesperson stole Obama's phrase "kick the tires and look under the hood." Matthews was sharp and called him out on it. Obviously this is a sign of Clinton's desperation and Obama's resonating messages.
This should be her "Dean Scream," as it perfectly encapsulates why many people are turned off by her (in an almost comical fashion). Unfortunately, since she's Hillary and not Howard Dean, the media likely won't touch this at all. Ah well.

HRC assumes whatever position, platform or slogan she thinks might get her elected. This is the ultimate sign that Hillary is without shame.

My point is, it's an expression. You can find on-line examples of Biden using the same expression last spring. Matthews said he hadn't heard it at all this election except from Obama's team before tonight on Hardball. This was his final bite at Wolfson, but I'm not sure why in such an important election this is what the media and blogs feel the need to concentrate on...who used an old cliche frst.
I think it is delerious sleep deprivation, rather than actually thinking she can get away with stealing it. How else to explain what she said about Musharaff [sp?] running for election? She needs some sleep. This is me being charitable, btw.

You're wasting column inches in your magazine reporting who cribbed a Cliche? "Kick the tires and see what's under the hood" and "Fired Up" are common figures of speech. Give your editors a common usage dictionary for their sweet 16 parties.

To "Meanwhilebackontheranch" and "PJ" "Fired Up and Ready To Go" has been a part of Obama's stump speech for over 7 months. I attended a rally in Atlanta when he tells the story of the Little Lady from South Carolina who he got it from and he ended the rally with this back and forth call. There is Obama campaign paraphenalia with "Fired Up Ready To Go". Clinton supporters and other candidates supporters know it as part of Obama's campaign and have mocked Obama supporters with the phrase in other blogs like the Huff Post. More me too from Hillary. There is nothing about leadership emanating from this Poll tested woman.
At least Hillary attended meetings of the committees she belongs to. Obama didn't call for one meeting of the subcommittee he chairs. I want someone who can do more than spout fancy phrases, someone who can do more than talk.

Show me your records from age 13 like Hillary Clinton has shown us or shut up! She is intellectual brilliant, professionally diligent and politically intelligent and she has a good sense of humor. It is better and more secure to be led by someone who has the records to prove that she has been committed to the best interests of most Americans. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is not posing or posturing to play to the gallery of Iowans and to impress the American press. She is speaking from her long years of experience since her Wellesley College days to her days as the advocate of the civil rights movement as the Editor of the Yale Law Review and Social Action. What have you got to show for your own life compared to hers?
Obama was the first black president of the harvard law review just like he will be the first black president of this country. She's been in this game too long, just look at how much money she has recieved from the insurance and drug companies that she is so "against". The woman has a hard time making a choice based on her own moral code, she voted for the war and it's funding over and over again. You knew the war was wrong how is it this person who has so much credibility and experience not suppose to have known?
midi, HRC has been getting advice from You-Know-Who for years now. I shudder to think of the power struggles going on in the White House if she's elected. You think Bill will take a backseat to his wife? You do? I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. Only slightly used. I read somewhere that she voted for the war to show how manly and tough she is, hoping to get the male vote. Isn't going to work, but nice try.
