Clinton Responds To Obama On The War

21 Jan 2008 08:23 pm

"Your record and what you say does matter. When it comes to a lot of the issues that are important in this race. It is difficult to understand what Obama says because as soon as he is confronted about it, he says, that's not what I really meant."
...

"You gave a great speech in 2002 opposing the war in Iraq... that was not a point of our criticism...by the next year, the speech was off your website...by the next year, you were voting to fund the war time after time after time."

Disingenuous at best.

If HRC wants to get in the gutter about the war she will lose. After tonight she will realize she doesn't have carte blanche in her blathering. She'll open herself up to all her seriously hawkish floor statements attached to her more serious pro-war votes and Obama's remarkably anti-war statements every step of the way for comparison.

Hopefully WJC, Penn and Wolfson will realize that as well. *sigh* Probably not...

"We can no longer afford to build ourselves up by tearing someone else down. We can no longer afford to traffic in lies or fear or hate." Barack Obama

Vote hope, not fear. Vote unite, not divide and conquer.

A few key parts of obama's campaign took on so much water that they won't float now.
Hillary embarrased him nine ways from Sunday and he actually sputtered at moments. This isn't the gutter: this is a neophyte who didn't anser the bell in a debate, who isn't able yet to defend his record: we need him to be able to intellibly defend his record if he is to be viable. He calls Bill a liar but he's had two weeks to disprove any portion of what Bill said. Did he take it off his website? Why?
Did he say those other things? why?

And accusing hillary of being a lawyer? isn't michelle also a corporate lawyer? how embarrasing for him.
