Hello, Marc-

I agree with her. I can't imagine any way that he could continue w/o it. There is no possible route to the nomination w/o winning big in the mid-Atlantic winner-take-all states on Feb. 5. He's behind McCain now in those states? What would happen to his standing in them if he lost once more? In a state that he's staked his entire campaign upon?

After a series of dismal finishes in the early states, if he doesn't win in Florida, there'd be no reason to view him as a viable candidate. His free media and money would dry up and he'd be forced out...

Rudy will lose support in Florida every day between now and Tuesday. People want their vote to count, so they will gravitate to one of the 2 frontrunners in the state. Rudy isn't one of those.

We live in a dichotomous universe. Aristotle's principle of either/or is one of the 3 foundations of his epistemology. So, as Rudy's loss of support becomes increasingly apparent, he will become increasingly marginalized. Mitt will win because there is a broad movement in the state among conservatives to coalesce behind a single candidate....and with each passing day, it is becoming increasingly obvious that Romney is that candidate.
