Obama and Clinton jab back and forth....arguing, talking over each other...
Barack, Barack, Barack, Hillary, Hillary, Hillary
Obama: "You just said that I complimented the Republican ideas. That is not true. Ronald Reagan is a transformative political figure because he was able to get Democrats to vote against their economic interests..."
Then this:
"When I was out there working in the streets, seeing people losing their jobs, you were a corporate lawyer sitting on the board of Wal-Mart."
Obama: "I did say we've got to be thinking in the same transformative way.."
Clinton:
"I was fighting when you were practicing law and representing ...Rezko...the slum-landlord in Chicago."
Edwards; "This kind of squabbling: how many people are going to get health care because of this?"

I thought it was important that Barack come out in this debate and clarify how the Clintons have misconstrued some of the things he has said ( Ronald Reagan ) and his positions ( on the war ). I think he did that well and made a strong argument. Hillary's attempts to refute him didn't work well. Saying he never takes responsibility was over-reaching and so was her saying he worked for a slum landlord which got booed. This bickering did work to his disadvantage by undercutting his campaign theme of rising above this type of politics. Edwards used the opportunity to really score some points by rising above the bickering and strongly come back to his themes.
