Isn't part of Obama's attraction that he can build coalitions even with those he (sometimes) disagrees with?

And wasn't this video released more than a month ago?

Nice try, Camp Clinton...

YES! This is beautiful. Barack Obama -- willing to speak truth to power to ANYONE, even his friends. That is the kind of leadership we want in a President.

Duh, Kennedy already endorsed Obama, so this clip is meaningless.

Plus, most Democrats would agree that Senate Dems should have fought back harder and sooner against Bush/Cheney.

The Clintons are really desperate aren't they?

First they roll out the Townsend re-endorsement as if it was new even though it took place months ago.

Then they start spreading this old video, without any context or info about Ted's response.

Context: This was after Ted lent his name to Bush's No Child Left Behind and the prescription drug bills. Everyone now sees those were failures, including Ted. He blames the Republicans, but he was wrong to ever trust them. Not with Bush in the White House.

Ted's response: "Senator Kennedy is glad Senator Obama tells people to give him a call when it’s time to fight. He’s always more than happy to stand up and fight for the American people."

Just as effective as the "Obama didn't do enough for Ned Lamont!" whines ... before Lamont, too, endorsed Obama.
