25 Jan 2008 09:32 am

The Table mates -- myself, Ross Douthat and Matt Yglesias take a look at the past two weeks and preview Florida and beyond.

Ross and Matt are terrifically smart. Terrifyingly smart. They book have written books, too. So it's fun to pretend to be as sophisticated as they are.

Why do I think, from the introductions, that Ross and Matt ought to be regular characters on The Big Bang Theory?

The Table is great fun. Do you accept product placements? Will you have guests on, say, amateur politicos who have turned to blogging now that they are broke from spending too much time on eBay?
Re HRC (back to things that matter, sort of), do the Clintonites think that if they win, after this almost supernatural mugging of Obama, that America will forgetaboutit, and vote for Bill's third term? I think the Democrats now feel as those Republicans feel who have run against them - that there's something almost unnatural about their ambition, a ruthless opportunism that is intensely personal.

They book have written books, too. So it's fun to pretend to be as sophisticated as they are.

Heh.

Jeez, I appreciate the commentary but you guys could certainly use some treadmill work...just some advice...
