Golden Dot

12 Feb 2008 10:17 am

I've been nominated for a Golden Dot Award in the category of Best Political Blog. It's like the Oscars, only without the prestige, the red carpet, the statues, the swag, the parties, the pretty people and Gil Gates.

But it'd be nice to win. So please, if you're so inclined, vote for me.

I like your blog.

It's informative, original and slightly gossipy.

Hope you win.
I voted for you. I don't wanna be ingenous but seems to me that its possible to vote more than once? multiple emails.
I can easily write a macro that will do just that. Hmmmm....

I enjoy your political analysis and I voted for you.

Best of luck

Voted for you, Marc. Thanks for your insight.

I already did.

YES.YOU.CAN.

No pre-awards parties for potential voters? I'm disappointed. But you still deserve a win...

okay, okay, I did. You got my vote Marc.

Well, you got two from me. Though I am lame enough to not even know what most of the categories were talking about.

If Hillary had a blog it would be lame.

If Nelly had a blog, it would be Hillary.

Sorry, I planned to vote for you, but then saw you were up against The Page. Yes, Halperin is the embodiment of big Media, but he genuinely seems to have figured out how to create a political drudge-equivalent.

If Almatt had a Hillary it would be a lame blog.

Enjoy your site, one of the rare places for original analysis and insider scoops.

i was surprised not to see Ben Smith or Jon Martin from Politico up for the award. Guess it just made it easier to vote for you, Marc. though, i do agree with the sentiment that Halperin's got a drudge thing going on there at the Page that seems to be successful. however, there's no real analysis there. just scoops, headlines, and links. so yeah, drudge.

I voted for you...even if you're a bit biased in favor of Hill. ;)

(Sullivan more than balances you out anyway)

Voted for you, great site.

I find it hilarious that a pro-Hillary blogger is on a Michigan-like ballot that excludes his primary competition, Ben Smith.

I wish I could vote uncommitted!
