I asked Tracy Sefl, the Clinton adviser who was outed a few months back as an informal conduit between the Clinton campaign and Matt Drudge, whether she had anything to do with the photo's journey to Drudge's e-mail inbox.
"No," she said.

Tracy is a smart operative; she'd know that circulating that photo would likely backfire. Only a FOOL would send that photo around ...
Wow. Slow day blogging?
Hillary and her minions are seriously fucked up. People like that are the breed in America I absolutely cannot stand - self important, unethical, Machiavellian, blowhard, ass clowns. Having one live next door or as a colleague is bad enough. As President and her advisers is like a Twilight Zone nightmare that you can't wake up from.
Larson, go back to writing about local Madison issues. Enough attitude - if you don't like the blog, don't read it. Maybe the Wisconsin cold is getting to you?
Oh, Almatt, that hurts -- because I don't think I am who you think I am, and I sure hate to sully the good name of another Jeff Larson out there. As for me, it's a balmy 85 where I sit, so I have no complaints :) Thanks for reading, glad to know you're following my work ;)
Why are you so worried about who distributed an authentic photo? Isn't the real question... Where has this photo been hiding? Why didn't Obama release this photo 2 years ago? How about a little journalism on these 2 questions.
Is Ambinder the Clinton Shill actually doing some real reporting? Uh, no. Just more spin for Hillary. What is the point of the Ambinder blog other than to promote Senator Clinton? When she's over, which is any day now, can we assume Ambinder is over too? Patronage does not work so well when your patron loses the election. What a joke.
Cheer up JJ - we know he is biased, so that counts as a foil to these kind of articles. I actually thought he wouldn't mention the photo at all.
Damn, Why slam Ambinder? Take a deep breath. Josh at TPM? Clear Hillary shill. Greg Sargent? Ditto. I'm an ardent Obama supporter and read this stuff as much the rest of them, but I don't see it so blatantly. Maybe I'm missing something?
Atlantic-style investigative journalism: Eddie: She's [Marge's] locked in the car and refuses to move. Chief Wiggum: Did you flash your lights? Eddie: Yes. Chief Wiggum: [thinks] Well, fresh out of ideas.
Why is Obama upset about the photo? Does he think that it is a liability? Surely people won't think he is a Muslim in the General Election. Even though most Americans believe that Saddam Hussein was involved in September 11th and there were weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq, I can't see how they would be duped into believing that Barack Hussein Obama would be Muslim. Remember, Obama is the most electable candidate, that's why he did well in the Democratic Primaries in Utah and Idaho. I'm sure Americans will shrug off the cocaine issue, too. It's not like coke is a big deal. Sure, over 70% of Americans said they wouldn't vote for someone who has engaged in such substances, but it's nothing a little inspirational speech can't diffuse. I think it is ridiculous that Obama recieves any type of scrutiny. When will these Hopemongers stop being a joykill?
