Margie Gavin Woods, from Illinois.

That makes 48 for Obama since Feb 5, and zero for Clinton.

Marc, do you have a link to the source?

Why do you say that's "zero"? DemConWatch has been adding a handful of superdelegates for her over the last month. Not announcing them (e.g., because she doesn't have as many as Obama, because they're not "official" endorsements but just pledges to vote for her, etc.) is not the same thing as having "zero."

...but I agree that Obama's been rapidly closing the gap and that she's got a lot of ground to make up if she wants to hang in there.

Marc, you're wrong. The Mayor of Pittsburgh (a superdelegate) announced for her last week.

I think Marc means a net of 0.

Mayor of Pittsburgh +1
Spitzer -1

You're mistaken. The mayor of Pittsburgh is NOT a superdelegate:

Alex, I stand corrected. I hadn't caught the latest update about Ravenstahl's status. Thanks.

I think you need to have a driver's license to be a superdelegate.

Mark says:

Umm, dude, that's Hillaryspeak! He's not closing the gap, as if he were behind. HE IS EXPANDING THE LEAD THAT HE ALREADY HAS!!!!!

Valleyval, Obama is indeed closing the gap. Pay attention to the article.

It is about superdelegates, which Clinton has led in and continues to lead. Obama leads in pledged delegates, and in combined pledged and supers, but not in supers.
