Give me a break Florida isn't a "Critial Swing State"!!! If you really think that you're a blasted fool. Florida has a Republican controlled state legislature, Charlie Crist the Republican Governor has a 70% approval rating. Then we have the nice little fact that Almost two thirds or Florida's representatives in the house and one of it's US Senators are Republican. Please explain to me how this is a "Crucial Swing State"?
Lovely. I was beginning to feel sorry for her (ok, just kidding!) Now look at how the feed from the Big Unbiased Paper reads: "Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton announced not one but two superdelegate pick-ups on Tuesday, including a big one from Representative John Murtha of Pennsylvania." Oh my God, now we all convinced that she's built enough momentum to win all the remaining primaries by an unprecedented landslide!
Murtha went for Clinton to protect his earmarks. That's all.
Meanwhile, CNN reports the Texas Caucus is still only 41% reporting. I know living nearer the equator makes a person slow, but that is ridiculous. Why today? My cynical guess is that Murtha has always been for HRC, and they have been saving his announcement for a day when they needed the headlines, for instance, after Obama talks race. Even though there is plenty of sexism in America, somehow I just can't picture HRC doing a speech on it.
Three exclamation points, eh, Marc? Down boy, down boy. I think they timed this to try to create an illusion of supers shifting towards HIllary because of the Wright flap...but I doubt this is the start of any substantial trend... I think Murtha is going to get beaten by Pelosi again....
Promised a position, Secretary of Defense, perhaps?

An its her first superdelegate in SUCH a long time. She got another one too, I believe (in West Virginia). Meanwhile, McCain is visibly benefiting from the Democratic fiasco in Florida to take a very solid (double-digit) lead against Obama in this crucial swing state.
