Denny Crane - I think they're releasing them now because they'll be eclipsed by the "rapturous speech coverage" you mentioned.
I thought for a moment she was actually releasing her tax records. But we know that's not going to happen unless she becomes the nominee.
It seems to me that the Clinton campaign realizes that the spin from Obama's speech will be largely positive, so they 1. must be confident that there's nothing negative in these papers, and 2. will be able to draw attention from Obama's speech...
Alas, no tax returns...
what relevancy are schedules.
Only the records for the first four years are being released? What about during the pardons and her Senate campaign?

Shameful isn't it. Americans that can afford a car can't afford gas, the cost of food is through the roof, forget about health care [obama has] and the crushing effect of lower wages and higher prices on average Americans and then you have obama whining about Hillary's tax returns. Shameful. Even more shameful is the fact Hillary has released more info than you'll get from the top sheets of a tax return for the last 7 years as required by law. obama has released his 06 returns [If you have links to other years please provide]. Shameful.
yeah man. Hillary has wanted to make this election about THE ISSUES and each candidate's VISION for the country, and not resort to PERSONAL ATTACKS (unlike some other drug-dealing, dangerously naive, possibly Muslim, lucky-to-be-a-minority candidates i could name).
I think it's safe to say that nothing released tomorrow will be in any way remarkable. This looks like a gesture in response to Obama's insistence that she release a whole wad of stuff she is very reluctant to part with.
HRC's tax returns will be released on 4/23, unless she loses PA. In that case, they will be released on 5/7.
I believe that Senator Clinton had very limited control over the National Archives's ability to release materials. NARA is strapped for cash and personnel and are struggling to organize mountains of records. Furthermore, I suspect that she does not have a copy of those records handy and Clinton Campaign staffers will be racing with reporters to discover and defuse potential issues. Really, how long do you keep your appointment calenders?
10000 pages is a lot of material. Having visited presidential libraries and conducted archival research in presidential records, this is no easy task...its more like a treasure hunt with an unreliable map. Its a daunting task.
Is there something you need to see in the records or just fishing??????
Good start. Now we just need a few more items and we can make an informed decision. Pesky voters.
"Is there something you need to see in the records or just fishing?"
Oh, I don't know. Evidence of experience at something, perhaps?
Right now, she's a candidate with a resume that says "Experience" but then after an item or two seems to be missing a next page where all that experience is outlined. Who would ever hire an employee who touts their experience but then can't provide much evidence of such except what they did in secret? (Is that like what they did in their head, you suppose?)
FYI -- the release of these was announced by the Archives 2 weeks ago in connection with a Judicial Watch suit: http://www.judicialwatch.org/national-archives-release-hillary-clinton-s-white-house-daily-schedules-judicial-watch-march-20
This has nothing to do with timing in connection with Obama's speech today, etc.
BA, that was some funny parody :-)
How about medical records? We haven't seen
Bill's yet, and the Clinton surrogates are
screaming for McCain's? Anybody interested
in Hillary's...I mean besides her being
overwight..profound, intermittent memory loss,
masochism, a pathologic head-bobbing while
speaking in public...could be something
not quite right there, you know.

THIS, apart from the rapturous speech coverage, is exactly what Team Obama needs. A new frenzy, a new topic ... and one eloquently put aside today, in my opinion.
Back to you Wolfson.
