McCain Clinches Nomination; Huckabee To Drop Out

04 Mar 2008 09:03 pm

Sen, John McCain has clinched the Republican nomination after a day of overwhelming victories capped by news that Gov. Mike Huckabee has decided to concede.

Tomorrow, Republican sources confirm that McCain will receive the endorsement of President Bush at the White House.

Following that ceremony, McCain will travel to the Republican National Committee, where chairman Mike Duncan will anoint him as the nominee presumptive.

So, republic party nominates a flipflopper who stands on wrong side of the issues!

McCain is for 100 years of Iraq war.
He wants to bomb Iran.
He was against torture before he was for it.
He broke his own campaign finance law.
He is "in bed" with lobbyists.

Overall he is Bush-Cheney on Steriods.

Let us have a choice

John Bush-Cheney McCain Vs Obama

"He was against torture before he was for it." Actually, he was a victim of torture before either of these stances.

Looks like Ron Paul is the only acceptable conservative left. Ron Paul 2008!

**Gov. Mike Huckabee has decided to concede.**

About time! how were they going to put on this season's Hope, Arkansas Community Theater spring production of "Deliverence" without the him?

Huckabee would have made a good President- I liked his Fairtax plan, and he seemed to have a clear idea of how to negotiate with the Middle East. However, John McCain would make an acceptable alternative. I know I'd rather have him in the White House than Obama or Clinton.

As the runner of HighSchoolers4Huck, although i am not surprised, this makes me very sad.

... oh well MIKE HUCK FOR VP!

Wrong! John McCain colaborated with the North Veit Namese to gain preferntial treatment! He is Liar and Suck up! A great match For Hillary, Two peas in the pod!

So it's down to McCain or Ron Paul. Though of course the media, having already virtually coronated McCain, are unlikely to respect the fact that voters still have a choice. But the reality is that life is fickle -- McCain could have a heart attack tomorrow. And of course freedom, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights are no less important and relevant than they were a few months ago. So go Ron, go!

Mccain might should have been dropped out since not much people chose him unless other states in America change the votes to chose him.
