Too funny. The "liberal media" and obamatons have been screaming 'obama released his tax returns why won't Hil.' Of course as I pointed out over and over again obama had NOT released his tax returns. Can you hear the 'Hey rubes!' Yeah sure you can.

Shouldn't you inform your readers that the reason *why* Obama has now posted his tax returns has less to do with a "transparency kick"-- as you patronizingly put it--and more to do with the fact that Phil Singer--Clinton spokesman--sent out an email at 11:23 am today *demanding* that Obama post them?
Well, he did. And now we're all waiting on the Clintons to do the same.
I think it's pretty clear that all of Hillary's tax returns were destroyed in a hail of bullets near Tuzla, Bosnia in 1996. That would include returns after 1996, too. They were magical bullets, which is why they had to land in an evasive maneuver.
Today, his campaign is on a transparency kick.
Better transparency of government being one of his major themes, this shouldn't really be a surprise.
Why are we supposed to watch Hillary stash her papers behind her back while smiling and saying that there's nothing to see, just give her the nomination first and then you can see them, unless she changes her mind...

See TPM Election Central. Obama had clearly been planning to post these for awhile. His campaign posted them just two minutes after the Clinton campaign demanded them.
Now, assuming the Obama campaign couldn't round up 100+ pages of documents, scan them, and post them on the internet in two minutes, it's clear the Obama campaign had planned to do this all along.
So yes, it's quite possible the Obama campaign is on a "transparency kick." And why not, when you're running against some of the shadiest politicians in the business today?
The Democratic Party should bring this whole vaudville show to a screathing halt. It is Obama who will be the nominee, sorry Hillary prepare for 2016. Oops! that is when Chelsea is suppose to inherit the White House. The Clinton's have done great things for this country and rightly they have reaped the rewards; however, the country is speaking and so far they are not listening.

hadenough, Obama had already released all his tax returns and they were available if you wanted to do a little research. This posting is just referring to the fact that he just posted them on his web-site so people such as yourself wouldn't have to actually do some work.

To me, the thing that stood out the most is that Obama did his own taxes before 2002.
Two things of note here. Obama's managed to have two good news days AND watch Clinton squirm, all from the sandy beaches of the Caribbean. Clearly the release is meant to capitalize on snipergate, while giving him something new to bash her with between now and April 15. Do we need a better sign his is the superior campaign?

RE: Rezko, Senator Obama spend over 3 hours with those who know him best, the Chicago media explaining his relationship with this gentleman. He released papers regarding Rezko Saturday. The Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribute said they were, and get this, read it good now...the were SATISFIED with Senator Obama's explanation of this relationship.
I have a question for all these people bashing Senator Obama. Do you believe in God? Do you believe in what Jesus taught? Do you realize that God is watching all this and He is taking notes. I can't understand why some people are like they are, I really don't.

Just to clarify, those are his returns for 2000-2006. He hasn't got his 2007 returns up yet (but they're not due til April 15 like all of ours).
