Translation: We realize we stepped in it re: Obama's readiness / VP consideration. Do these people even LISTEN to what they are saying? Apparently not. It's not that they think everyone else is so stupid as to believe their ridiculous lies - it's that they obviously don't even THINK about the people who are the supposed target of their deception. "OK, we'll say this". The ignorance and arrogance is stunning. This is a terrific opportunity for Obama to hammer away at the Clinton camp. Just keep pushing this, and allow the voters to watch the Clinton responses. 
I think what Howard is saying is that the process of having the nomination stolen from Obama will be the exact experience he needs to be a heartbeat away from commander-in-chief. God, don't you in the media get that? It makes perfect sense. A coup by Hillary is the exact best thing that could happen for Obama, the party, and flying pigs everywhere!
The Clintons are not only condescending but also obnoxious.
The Clintons are detestable. What they are saying is that after they make Obama unelectable in the eyes of superdelgates, they get the nomination and then run him as VP so he can save their sorry butts with Black folk. This is inherently racist.

Their ability to push pro-obama narratives pretty much climaxed the day before the FL primary with the obama/kennedy wall-to-wall coverage all the time [despite the way over the top coverage obama was destroyed in FL]. Since then it's been a mess. I blame the damn foreign press. Like the Scotsman reporter their dared print power’s hate filled comments and the BBC’s airing power again telling the truth about obama and his campaign rhetoric. Damn the foreign press.
It's often said the most important decsion a presidential nominee makes is the running mate, who would be a heartbeat away. So if Hillary thinks Obama is not ready, that means she has poor judgement in floating his name as VP....just like she had poor judgement on Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan. Either that or she is just lying.

TAking Wolfson's statement at its face value, the Clintons are saying that for Obama to pass his test to be commander-in-chief he needs to lose to Hillary. Will the media please pull them up short for this crap.

Look at him, he just got out of college, ran some community groups and then became a legislator on the coat tails of the black vote.... why... them black people in Chicago must have voted 1,000 times each to elect him... right? Chelsea Clinton is the one that should be VP... here is someone who can attract the youth vote, is an accomplished and experienced person who spent 8 years living in the White house, and in all that time, she didn't even run into Monica once! Now that is hard work! On top of this, she has ivy league degrees, worked for a big name consulting firm like Mitt Romney, and she is definitely ready to be ready to be President on day 1. VOTE RODHAM/(Chelsea)CLINTON! The true unbeatable ticket.

I can't believe these people are getting paid (well) for this. If I come up with some equally great ideas, will I cross the threshold in a few months?
What will happen between now and Denver is that if Clinton wins the nomination by some kind of superdelegate chicanery and her campaign discovers that she will therefore have no black voters (and not so many white ones) in November, Wolfson will suddenly discover a whole trove of experience and judgment that will make Barack Obama a stellar vice president. It will be the same experience and judgment that Obama has now, of course.
Wow I really care who Wolfson thinks is ready to be commander-in-chief. Wolfson is not ready to be dog-catcher. The Clintons have become nothing more than an annoyance. Winning a couple of states is not going to change the fact that you have lost the election. Shoo fly! Go away!
Why does Wolfson still have a job?
It really depends on what your definition of the word 'IS' is. I mean, you might ask the question 'IS Barack Obama really qualified to be President?' And on the other hand you might also ask 'IS Barack Obama really qualified to be President?'. Can't you see the difference!?

It's so obvious. What Howard Wolfson means is that sometime between now and Denver, it may become in Howard Wolfson's self-interest to deem Barack Obama to be qualified to be president. In that instant, in a twinkling of Mr. Wolfson's eye, Obama will become qualified to be president.
The Clinton's are betting that uninformed voters will reach the conclusion that she's the frontrunner. Seriously. The sad thing is, it will work with many voters. But if she wins using these tactics, she better be prepared to be booed off the stage at the convention in Denver. I'm not a delegate, so I guess I'll just stand outside with my F&%! YOU sign.
