All you folks in the media are probably relieved. Now that pesky Ron Paul is out of the race you don't have to deal with his supporters, or ever cover him again!

I seriously doubt that, Warren. I'm sure there will be racist writings for years to come.

The guy seriously thinks his campaign owns liberty. If he ever rose to "serious menace" level, the newsletter imbroglio would finish his candidacy in twenty minutes.
And yes, many will be relieved by the exit of the brainwashed cult-like followers, who defended him even after his ties to the newsletter were no longer deniable, with sentences like "but he delivered 4000 babies, which makes him smarter (OR: a better person) than anybody else!!!!!!".
And their reaction to any rational argument about gold standard (or the necessity of the Fed or the IRS) went immediately ad-hominem.
Ron Paul was the perfect candidate for white affluent self-conscious people with a mental age of 17.
So yes. Good riddance. And I do fear how will your next incarnation look, in four years time.

Sandrina - Ron Paul was the perfect candidate for white affluent self-conscious people with a mental age of 17.

Only half right. That would be the conservative and blind libertarian whites

The rest of the whites with a mental age of 17 are fainting at Obama rallies and busily composing thousands of Tribute Websites to their Black Messiah.

sandrina,

I can't tell from your post - do you think ad hominem attacks are a bad thing? :)

I'm always impressed by posters who call Ron's supporters "nuts", but apparently think that massive deficit spending and world policing is "sane".

I suppose it depends on which Ron Paul believe.

CTD, I think you and I heard today's incarnation of Ron Paul- sounds like Grover Norquist, drown the Federal Government in a bathtub and return its revenues to the citizenry.

People like Jeff Larson and the Stormfront are enamored with Ron Paul who owned publishing company that produced a nasty magazine.

Heh, don't think "enamored" is the word you're looking for, Warren. But you sound awfully dismissive of Dr. Paul's racist literature. Are you talking about the nasty magazines that were, at various times, the sole product of said publishing company? With Ron Paul's name on the titles? Those magazines?
