The message is a good strategy. You need to force McCain to reject the Bush administration or tie him directly to it. It is one of the most unpopular administrations in the history of polling right now. It's his ball and chain.
This is very much a shot at the independents, and a reinforcement against the defection or reagan dems. Linking a guy to a president with a 20-30% approval rate is by definition a broad message
Isn't putting "Mc" in front of something an anti-Irish slur?
dt: When liberals utter what some might to be slurs from their frame of reference, the problem isn't that they're slurs at all but that that the frame of reference is wrong and is not taking into account the historical oppression of liberals by the hegemonic conservative oppressors, those who are the only ones capable of uttering smears and slurs.
