What next? Not only is HRC going to give us universal health care, appoint a poverty czar and cure breast cancer - she's going to cut the murder rate in half during her first term! Wonder if it will take her until the second term end flat tires and rainy Saturdays. 
"Crime" is a way to shore up the support she's losing amongst Reagan Democrats as they realize she has no legitimate chance to win. I'm not buying it.
If you are not making fun of her proposals, whats the point of this article? All it has done is draw yet more snark and hatred. Will you people never get the message? Keep it up. Keep it up until you have enraged every single Clinton supporter to abandon the party. Keep it up. I dont know how many more ways I can let you know you are acting against your own self interest here.
I am making fun of her proposals. She promised 200,000 new jobs for upstate New York and never delivered them. She's promising 3,000,000 (that's right 3 million) new jobs for Pennsylvania. Even the most optimistic economists say this isn't even possible. Now she's promising to cut the murder rate in HALF! Not ten percent, or a quarter, but half. Does she even know how police deparments work? She has a pattern of making promises she can't deliver. If she were to set more realistic standards, people wouldn't say anything. But she always shoots for the moon and misses, like she did on Healthcare during Bill's first term, and we all suffer for it. Now I know her supporters don't care, but too bad. She has to learn to set realistic goals and reach them, as oppose to setting impossible ones and failing.
Isn't this a recycled (but not horrible) policy of Bill's?
Hillbilly is going to make an all out effort to get the nomination withe even better promises: How about a chicken in every pot? Or eight pieces of chicken in every fryer? A horse in every barn? Or a slice watermelon to go with every 8 pieces of chicken? She is also going to cut the incarceration rate of black males by 90% in the first 3 years of her term.... and eliminate poverty by giving everyone first class tickets to live in Guyana or Sub-Saharan Africa where money goes far. Now all she has to promise to to triple the price of everyone's real estate.
Cutting the murder rate in half - Hillary's plans which call for 100,000 new cops on the street and more government spending. Philly's lethal crime problem is 95% due to underclass black thugs - who murder innocent people, as well as other black thugs. Using guns it is illegal for them to have in the 1st place. Cops on the street doesn't deter that well. Most cities abandoned that recent folly of attempting to return to 1890s NYC as a waste of expensive manpower. Nor will more welfare, for unwed mothers that breed black thugs by the handful, work. Because we now discover that single mothers generally make poor mothers that produce underclass kids that murder and rape at 6 times the rate of black kids growing up in a two family home not supported by government money. And thus kill and rape at a rate 11 times that of whites, asians. Armed robbery at 18 times the rate. (Overall black crime rate, counting the good black kids with the thugs - murder and rape is 6 times the frequency of asians or whites, armed robbery 15 times the rate) The problems are in black families and black culture. And the "no snitching, ever!" campaign, which has dropped murder solving rates 30-70% in certain black neighborhoods. All "more cops" do is mean more cops watching the one draw a chalk outline around a corpse while 200 people who saw the killing all swear they didn't see nuttin'. And of course, Hillary promises to accomplish that by cutting down on the dangerous black thugs being safe behind bars, promising to release 90% of such cons back out on the street. The crime problem is in the minds and hearts of the thugs. Who go do crime where the cops ain't. Cell phones&lookouts, means they know where the cops are these days. "No snitch" terror means thugs can do a lot of their stuff in the open, with impunity, with gangs having people inside the court system to finger witnesses...then intimidate those execeptions to the "I dint see nuttin', Mr PO-LICE Man!" rules.

Perhaps a better mayor is what is called for not more cops. In New York, a city of 4 Million plus -there were less than 50 murders last year committed by strangers - despite the impression that "Law and Order" shows might leave to the contrary.
