This ad hits the wrong note.

Mocking Republicans as poor speakers doesn't work, and it risks a backlash against Dem elitism. It's a shame to go there when there's a much more compelling target: the Republicans' disastrous foreign policy.

The clip should have had McCain saying "100 years" or "bomb bomb bomb Iran"; Bush saying "Mission Accomplished" or "I say, Bring 'em on" or some variant of "things are going great in Iraq".

I agree. It's tacky. It belongs to late night comedy shows, not in a political party ad.

I too agree. It is pretty lame. Putting them together is one thing this type of add does not help. There is much much better stuff out there on the net.
