Veepstakes: Richardson And North Korea

Item: NM Gov. Bill Richardson announces he's sending is senior adviser to North Korea to talk with their government about its nuclear program. Richardson: “Dr. [A.M.] Namkung travels to North Korea at a critical junction, as the U.S. government has announced progress toward disabling the DPRK’s nuclear facility." Richardson has twice visited North Korea since 2005 and serves a key point of contact between the two countries.

If Richardson isn't veep, can he be a roving diplomat? He seems to have a bipartisan rep there.

I don't think Richardson is angling for Veep. I think he's looking at Secretary of State.

Who care if he's looking for one position or another in the Obama administration? The point is: He is doing something about the state of our country now before it falls totally apart.
