Clinton's Old New Math

06 May 2008 08:33 pm

Myth: today, Hillary Clinton suddenly changed her candidate's delegate math expectations, using the nomination trigger that includes Florida and Michigan (2209) rather than the figure that excludes Florida and Michigan.

Fact: Some of Clinton's own aides have helped her here. Clinton has several times mentioned the 2209 figure and her campaign listed 2209 as the target way back in February, when it launched its delegate hub website.
