I think Ron Paul could have got a post of his own. He tapped into a still completely unserved part of Republicans, and ii he had/does run as an independent, he could be as damaging as Nader was to Gore.

and you didn't post the reason Berlusconi 'backed' McCain:

"I suppose I could express my own personal preference for one of the candidates, the Republican candidate," Berlusconi said. "And this is for a very selfish reason, and that is that I would no longer be the oldest person at the upcoming G-8 because McCain is a month older than me."

Yes, I was essentially going to post the same thing James did. Far more interesting than Berlusconi's backing of McCain is the why: "finally someone older than me!"

Marc,

The HTML escape ∃ will give you a true backwards E.

Not "Baby's Mama" which would have been accurate but "Baby Mama" which has a quite different meaning.

Claus: The fact that many conservatives have a problem with grammar, punctuation and slang shouldn't surprise you, especially when it's both important and incredibly inconvenient to their argument.

Baby's mama? Poor judgment-ama.

It's not poor judgement, it's pushing the racial slur envelope to see how much they can get away with before the press and Obama turn on them.

Unsurprisingly, Ambinder simply regurgitates the Republican talking points.
