Veepstakes Alert: Pawlenty Hosts Anti-Obama Call

03 Jun 2008 11:21 am

The Republican National Committee has asked Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) to bracket Sen. Barack Obama's celebration in St. Paul tonight.

Pawlenty is subject to the highest level -- accurately -- of vice presidential speculation, and his words will be very carefully parsed.

He's hosting a 3:20 pm ET conference call with reporters.
