A Thought: Why Clinton Will Work Even Harder For Obama Now

Is Gov. Sarah Palin's selection good or bad for Hillary Clinton?  CW holds that the best thing for Clinton is to be perceived as working super hard for Obama. If Obama loses, Clinton will be vindicated, and there will be minimum blowback. She's set up to run in 2012.

 

Now that the ticket is McCain-Palin, what happens to HRC if McCain wins? Palin is the VP. What does it do for HRC's presidential ambitions if she's been leapfrogged by Palin? I can't help but think that HRC is going to be personally invested in protecting her historic turf. Nancy Pelosi as Speaker, okay. Palin--mere Palin-- as VP, not okay.


Here's betting Clinton will work extra hard...
