Where They Stand

Maybe I'm just being a toady for CBS News, which pays me as a consultant, but for those of you who want long television segments devoted to the issues, you could do a lot worse than
One down, 34 more to go....  One note: the executive producer of the evening news is Rick Kaplan. He's no shrinking violet, which means that he won't put bad pieces on the air, which means that CBS folks have figured out a way to talk about the issues that actually translates into good television.  (Another network innovation I loved  was how ABC News incorporated issue segments in their New Hampshire debate broadcasts this year.)
