Now that is the way to do a postive, issues-oriented ad. Though as Mitch notes, if this is up in CO it's to reach the northern NM media market.
Wow. That almost made me cry. Whoever is running against Tom Udall might as well give up now.
Powerful. I've never had a political ad make me mist up before and get moist in the eyes. It's a good year to be a Democrat. I hope we remain humbled and only gloat for a few days (weeks?) after the election and then spend the next several years earning the trust and honoring the vision that we've set forth.
I'm just recovering from a bout of migraine that's mucked with my brain; seizure medication's just beginning to bring me back to myself. slowly recovering language, logical thougt, and losing the constant vertigo. (Please, if you get migraines, understand that they can be very serious.) I can only begin to guess at the brain trauma some of our men and women who've served have suffered. But I know how frightening it is to reach for a word, and it's not there; to not be able to express yourself. To ride in a car, and get so dizzy that you need to lie down. To not remember something five minutes after it happens. To not remember how to do simple things that you know you used to do without thinking. I've got my doctor backing me up; saying I've suffered cognitive loss. Many of our veterans are told they're imagining it. Get over it. I'm sure they're symptoms may differ from mine; I'm sure they're equally frightening. And I can only imagine how cruel it is to discover that the nation you served isn't there to help you in your time of need. Thank you to all of our Senators and Congressmen who support our veterans and their families, the only people being asked to sacrifice for Bush's (and McCain's) dirty little war.
Wow. Just wow. Would that they were all this stunningly exquisite.
I live in NM and let me just tell you...this is the FIRST I have seen this anywhere. If this ad is running, I'd like to know where in NM. All that I have seen - and believe me I'm seeing a lot here - McCain's tv & radio ads are some the nastiest, distasteful, dishonest and hateful ads I've ever seen (and I've been voting since 1980 so I've seen a lot). This ad is amazing...too bad it's being overshadowed by the mudslinging initiated by the Republicans. The Republicans have nothing else to stand on & are self-destructing. Good riddance.
Wow! That's not just because I can't think of any other sentiment other than everyone else. It's because that's about the only word I can utter at this point.
It is very moving and I never vote Democratic.
First rate ad. Probably the best one I have seen this year.
