The survey shows that McCain has a 47-44 percent advantage in the key Tampa Bay region -- reversing Obama's 48 percent -44 percent lead there in early October. McCain continues to hold his lead in Central Florida, 53-39 percent and Southwest Florida, 54-38 percent. Obama, meanwhile, is holding a strong 58-32 percent lead in Southeast Florida.
The telephone poll of likely voters was conducted from Oct. 20 through Oct 21.

Mason-Dixon's Florida polls are usually top-notch, so it's worth reading what they've found. The race is tied -- although the numbers are slightly more favorable to McCain's than a similar poll taken last month.
