Plouffe's Video Update

Obama campaign manager talks about "the map."    He says the O campaign "is playing defense in" PA, WI, MN, NH. "And we feel very strong about our chances in all four of those states."  Offense: he mentions NC, VA, FL and OH... not Missouri or Indiana.

At one point, he mentions McCain's "erratic" handling of the economic crisis and says Americans "want a steady hand"....  that's code, of course, for questioning Obama's temperament.

I think you want "McCain's temperament" there.

I can't really fault the erratic meme, because if there's one thing McCain's been for the past 2 weeks--and really since going all in on a veep he knew almost nothing about--it's erratic. If Schmidt wanted to craft the image of a statesman steering a steady course in troubled times, he misshot wildly.

why would he question obama's temperament? even conservative critics have acknowledged have acknowledge that he has a superb temperament? mccain's temperament? yikes!

I get the feeling that Marc just couldn't bring himself to write the phrase "Questioning McCain's temperment".

Poor guy. I get the feeling that this whole ride has been tough on him. Almost done Marc. Chin up.
