"Republicans Blaming Democrats." "Democrats Blaming Republicans."

An ad targeted at those who've been sickened by this week's exercise in politics.

"Democrats blaming Republicans." "Republicans blaming Democrats."

We're the United States of America.

It shouldn't take a crisis to pull us together.

We need a President who can avert crisis.

Put people back to work.

Grow our economy.

[editor's note: so far, so good. No partisanship detected. Can he resist the temptation?]

And move people from surviving to thriving.

[editor's note: still good.]

We need leadership without painful new taxes.

[editor's note: oh. Couldn't resist.]

That will make our country strong again.

I'm John McCain and I approve this message.
