The Republican National Committee's independent expenditure unit announced plans for its newest advertisement tonight. Beginning tomorrow morning, it will shift traffic to ad featuring words on the screen only -- no audio, accusing Obama of proposing "nearly ONE TRILLION DOLLARS" in new spending. The (silent) tag line? "Sound crazy? It is."
The ads will air in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. (Note: no more RNC IE money in Michigan...) The unit's first ad, called "worse," will air in Maine -- where the McCain campaign hopes to pick up an electoral vote -- and in parts of Florida and North Carolina. |
