20 Oct 2008 04:10 pm

At the beginning of a conference call just now, McCain adviser Randy Scheunenmann , called Sen. Joe Biden's suggestion that an international crisis would test Obama's mettle a "Kinsleyian gaffe" and implied that Obama would be like  John F. Kennedy, who hurried into an ultimately ill-advised early summit with Krushchev in 1961.  (Kennedy later called it "the roughest thing" of his life.)
